Can you use AVA OS with just a Nano Brain and the AVA companion app?

Yes, although AVA recommends against it for most use cases.

With AVA OS 2.0, you can run an AVA OS project on an AVA Nano Brain without a Cinema Remote. A Cinema Remote is required to perform the initial setup of the project, but once setup is complete, it can be removed if the system will be operated only through the AVA companion app on a third-party touch screen, mobile device, or computer.

While this configuration is technically possible, it may limit the customer experience—especially for controlling video content. The Cinema Remote’s Dynamic Keypad provides eyes-free tactile control that no touch screen can match.
