AVA OS “New Moon” 2.0.0 🌒

Hey, AVA installers!

Last week at CEDIA Expo 2025, we announced the biggest AVA OS news ever: AVA OS 2.0!!

The thousands of visitors that came to see us were stunned by the massive surprise of new features and possibilities.

Since AVA doesn’t like to pre-announce, we made sure we could follow the show with an immediate release. So - we are delighted to provide it to you today!

Highlights

  • Free upgrade for all AVA installers and homeowners
  • New AVA apps for Mac, Windows, iPad, iPhone, and Android Phone and tablets*
  • Support for third-party Android in-wall panels (can run as a full launcher or a companion app)*
  • Pro configuration tools now available on macOS and Windows for faster project setup and management.
    • Windows will be listed shortly, as we work our way through the fun house of Microsoft’s approval process
    • Download the AVA apps at https://ava.com/download
  • Premium design system inspired by Swiss graphic design: improved readability, larger touch elements, adjustable font sizes.
  • 300+ new icons added, with a great new UI that groups icons to make them easier to find.
  • Automation improvements: make changes faster, and reconnect an IP driver to a device without breaking any flows
  • Now over 1,000+ IP drivers with deep native integrations
  • Google Play certification (still unique in CI products): run apps like two-way video doorbells, Tesla/EV apps, Powerwall, or family calendars, and launch them from a Flow

  • SkyQ - a major win for our UK dealers
  • Lilin NVR
  • SurgeX Power Strip
  • CYP IP to RS-232
